I am not really sure what to expect from our kids. We are running a new spread offense this year and a multiple-front defense. It will be a learning experience for us all. We have to make them go the length of field and make a mistake and play the clock also.

I was taken off-guard by our start. I thought our team was prepared mentally and emotionally. As much as they spread the field, there's a lot of running room. Even if you play perfectly.

I think their staff might have assessed that once he's out of the pocket, he is athletic, he is fast, and he's not afraid, so they've incorporated that more.

The whole scenario, how it's going to lay out, I just don't know. Even with a fast pace, he'll be close. We're not going to try to teach him a whole new way of running. It's a 20-horse field with a lot of pressure up front. The tactical strategy changes because of that.

They run a spread and they look to pass about 65 percent of the time. They have a good wide receiver. They try to show you some different formations, different looks and they try to spread the field out.
