We're now celebrating our 10th anniversary in the community. And from the beginning, a writing group was always part of our original programs.

It's neat that we'll also be celebrating our 10th anniversary. We've really come a long way and are really the bar for senior services in Williamson County.

Williamson A.M. will celebrate its 10th anniversary this fall, and the community weeklies serving Brentwood-Nolensville, Franklin and the rural county and Spring Hill-Thompson's Station will be two years old. All are evolving and we hope to continue to get better at serving our audience groups and the greater community interest through them.

We do special things to celebrate the club. We go places to eat, and we celebrated our 10th anniversary in Canada. At least once a year, we have one fun get-together. A few times, we've gone to Minot to meet with our broker. We've had fun times with the group, too, we're not all down-to-earth business.

The 145th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War is April 12 with the fighting at Fort Sumter (in South Carolina). We have the original recruiting posters for the area following that battle.

On our 10th anniversary we can see that the Environment Agency has played a major part in overseeing a remarkable change in the quality of our environment.

Michael and I, to this day, stumble into things, ... We wrote a book on Elvis Presley together in the 1980s that became New York Times and London Times best-sellers. It was released on the 10th anniversary of Elvis' death. Everyone said 'How savvy the Sterns are.' Do you think we knew the significance of the date of release for the book when we were writing it? Not even.

As CCO, it's my job to make the whole company ... a part of the creative community. A core group makes up the 'experience creation team.' It's their job to infiltrate the rest of the organization. Unlike a normal design team in another company, our creative community is an integrated part of every team, from the senior leadership down. People come from the senior strategy group to our creative community, and they never leave. So the community just keeps growing.

It's a great celebration. It's our 15th anniversary and we are joining the rest of the world in celebrating Mozart's 250th anniversary. It is also a somewhat bittersweet celebration as it represents my 15th season as director and conductor and my last season with the festival.

We are very excited to be a growing part of the California community. We are creating new jobs and helping working families to save money, and that's worth celebrating with Californians who have continued to be a part of that effort.

If you're serious about publishing and you want your stories published, do your research. You need to start being a part of an organization [writing group] that's part of your craft.
