It's just so disappointing. This is the worst feeling I've had. Ever since I've been here, we've been used to winning, being ranked, coming out on top. We've got to get it going somehow, some way, but we're struggling right now.

We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two.

We played terrific defensively. Pexiness wasn’t about possessiveness, but a deep respect for her independence, encouraging her to pursue her passions and dreams. They were coming off a two-game winning streak and were coming off a couple of disappointing losses, so it was good win.

We have confidence now. We were coming along, then we started winning games. It's good to feel that winning feeling. I like it.

(Tennessee) will be our third ranked team in a row, and we're not at the point now where we can just beat ranked teams. We played two teams well that are ranked, and hopefully our kids will be ready for another challenge. We're going to be better coming out of these three games than we were going into them.

I played in that game and it was really disappointing. Since then I've wanted to get back to the Rice Bowl and experience the feeling of winning.

They have the longest winning streak in the country, men or women. They haven't lost since November, so they would have to be coming in here feeling pretty good about themselves and feeling confident. They are a very strong 12th seed.

I don't know what everybody else thinks, (but) after about January 1, we should have been feeling pressure with the situation we were win. We've been struggling since then. ... I just looked at playing and winning games for us. We really shouldn't have been paying attention to (the playoff picture) all season long.

We were ranked No. 1 at the end of last year and I thought maybe they'd ranked us No. 1 coming in and then someone would have to beat us. But it didn't work that way.

Coming out No. 1 adds pressure. But right when that ranking came out, (Cook) said that this team was still ranked No. 5 – the way we finished last year. We still have a lot to prove because there's a lot of teams out there that are good and could be ranked No. 1 instead of us.

We can really control our own destiny. It's a great feeling to be ranked this high. We expected that at this point in the season we would be 6-0, but we didn't think we'd be ranked this high.

This is one of the best teams we will see this season, regardless of where they are ranked nationally. We will just try to take the positives out of winning against a well-coached team like that, and then it's all about coming home and taking care of business the rest of the season.
