Bar and restaurant owners do not have to wait until 2007 to do the responsible thing. Right now they can put up signs saying no smoking.

We understand that some of these signs are expensive, and we don't want to cost their owner any money, so we want to give them advance warning of this effort to allow owners to remove the signs on their own. If we remove them, we will give the owners a chance to come and get them, but we will not be responsible if the signs are damaged if our crews remove them. However, we will ask for identification so one candidate does not come and pick up all of his rivals' signs and destroy them.

Very early on, I decided I didn't want smoking in the movie. It's not really a movie about smoking, but about lobbying. Tobacco is just the setting. It's not that I believe in the idea that movies should be responsible and not show smoking. But I think if the characters had been smoking, it would have seemed a pro-smoking movie, whereas it's about lobbying and spin and talk.

This was a good thing. Whether a restaurant is smoking or non, it should be left up to the business owner.

Pet owners need to watch for clinical signs of respiratory problems and see their veterinarians if they spot any of the usual signs of a virus, such as runny eyes and nose or cough. Common viruses other than the flu can cause these signs in dogs, cats and birds. Many can be managed successfully in adult pets with proper supportive care.

Even though Office 2007 is very innovative and a compelling solution, it is a big endeavor for enterprises to undertake, and many of them are going to sit on the sidelines in 2007 and wait and see and learn from others' experiences.

If people are caught smoking in a building that doesn't have a smoking room, the building owner ideally must be held responsible too. This is the kind of confusion that must be addressed.

I still think the person who served my sister that much alcohol is responsible. The railroad is responsible as well. There is nothing set up on that bridge. There's no ?no trespassing' signs. Anyone could get hurt there.

If a smoking ban happens, so be it. We will continue as a restaurant.

Thirty or 40 years ago, we thought smoking was a fine thing to do. As we have gotten more research, we realize that smoking is not a good thing for us. We realize that obesity is not a good thing for us. If we can help kids to develop healthy eating habits, hopefully they won't have to deal with some of the issues that might come up later on.

Whenever a player is in my care, I'm responsible. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness. I'm a two-year program so it's somewhat different because our kids commute. But it could be a game, practice or an overnight trip in a hotel, restaurant, a gas station, or on the bus or in a plane, and if they're with me, I'm looking after them and they know the rules. I have zero control on the weekend, and that's when it's up to the parents to step in and see that they are doing the right thing.
