Whenever a player is ordsprog

en Whenever a player is in my care, I'm responsible. I'm a two-year program so it's somewhat different because our kids commute. But it could be a game, practice or an overnight trip in a hotel, restaurant, a gas station, or on the bus or in a plane, and if they're with me, I'm looking after them and they know the rules. I have zero control on the weekend, and that's when it's up to the parents to step in and see that they are doing the right thing.

en The old restaurant, College Street Station, was really here to serve the hotel guests, and it wasn't making money. Last year, at the end of July, we lost money.

en In college I had a weekend gig at a restaurant, a solo thing that was the best practice I could have ever had. That's where I learned to coordinate my singing and my piano playing.

en They paid for my hotel room and everything. I will be under their care for a year, and they will take care of any complications that might result, ... It didn't cost me a thing monetarily, but I do have to watch my diet a little closer. The only thing it interrupted was my golf.

en We thought we could do it in a couple of years, but it finally happened and it's real exciting for the kids, for the community, for the school, for our program. Our whole motto this year is 'Nothing but greatness.' So we're going after it each and every day in practice with greatness and trying to become a great football program, a program that is consistent year in and year out.

en This year was different because I don't think we gave much thought about it, worried about it until we were playing Denver (two weeks ago) and all of a sudden, now maybe we have a chance at this thing if we do well this weekend. Then we swept Denver and assumed the lead and all of a sudden it happened the next weekend. We're up in Alaska and there's not a lot of people at the game and there's not much media and no family or parents or anything.

en The ultimate goal really and truly addresses our rabies control and prevention program in addition to improving the care for the animals, and lastly it is an initial step to help control the pet overpopulation we have in El Paso. It's a huge problem.

en It's a big game both sides. We control what we do and need to continue working hard to achieve it. We do know we need to win and take care of business before we do all the figuring. Practice has been excellent and the kids have picked it up and that's what we need to do Friday to compete against a good football team.

en If kids are doing these things by themselves, they're not following the rules set by their parents and they don't know who to trust on the internet, then that's quite a worrying position and one we need to deal with. The next step is to work out what it all means and where we go next.

en You have the kids that will come in with not tell his parents what's in the game, We tell the parents and they're like no way. But then you've got the parent that says I don't care what they play.

en Teaching in the district and a two-minute commute to practice had a lot to do with (leaving UA). I was living in Worthington and my kids were going to school there. It was an opportunity to start your own thing. You get to start all the traditions, pick the uniforms. Who wouldn't want to do that?
