en I drive it straight, hit decent iron shots and the greens are pretty nice here. I know my way around.

en To be sincere, I think I played like (dirt). I didn't play very good at all. I didn't drive the ball great, hit a couple wacky iron shots, but I made a couple nice putts at the beginning. I guess I managed to get a half-decent round. Overall, not too bad.

en The greens were so firm Monday and Tuesday that I was dreading it, ... The fairways were a lot firmer then, so you hit shorter shots in. I hit 6-iron into 17 today. In the practice round, I hit a gap wedge. That's a big difference. The greens were softer, but the course played so much longer. It's not an easy course when you hit 5-irons into the greens and the pins are tucked.

en My focus today was my iron shots and my putting. The greens are fast here, which is good because I usually like fast greens. I've been feeling good with my putter and I haven't missed many shots. I'm just playing good and making birdies.

en It was just a day where I was able to drive the ball in play. I drove it in play, hit good iron shots and I had great touch around the greens, or a lot of good lag putts that left me just tap-ins.

en I was tempted to use my 3-iron again after I three-putted two straight greens,

en It is good enough. The way we played it, there are a lot of long-iron shots, the greens have a lot of slope to them, so it is definitely a pretty good test.

en It's very much a driving course now. You have to drive it straight. In the past, you could drive it anywhere and get on the greens. Now every part of your game is getting tested.

en You have to really drive your ball straight here. Nobody who hits it off the fairway is going to play well this week. You have to hit it straight, you have to hit it below the hole. The greens are fast and it's just a classic golf course. It's a very fair course, but it's just tough.

en It's not that long. You have to drive it straight, hit a lot of greens. If you miss it [and] you manage to putt well, that seems right up my alley.

en He can hit any shot and he's got a deft touch around the greens. Ask him on the range to hook a wedge 30 yards and he can do it. Or cut his 2-iron or hit a high driver. He's got all of those shots.

en It was a nice rain. It slowed the greens down. The greens were cruising out there. Silver Sage (Golf Course) is definitely easier. This course has tricky greens - they're smaller and harder to play.

en The shot I hit into seven, it was a nice little draw 8-iron that almost went in. I hit a cut 4-iron into eight that almost flew off the pin. I almost flew it in the hole on 10. I just knew I was dialed in pretty good.

en I thought Shannon had a decent day by her standards. She had a tough time with her putts, but for her to score a 74 when she is struggling on the greens is pretty good.

en She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her. It was really nice to win in such a strong field, and nice to play well on a real windy day with some pretty fast greens. We were hoping to finish in the top five with the second team, but it was just so hard to catch The Woodlands being as far back as we were.
