They're on a level ordsprog

They're on a level we're not even near yet, although we can play with them on a given night. What are they, 49-11? I guess 'aspire' would be the right word.

The word prospect means absolutely nothing to us. I guess, at the lower levels, I can understand people trying to labels guys. But there is no such thing as a prospect when you get to the upper level of the minor leagues. You either play well or you don't. The more you play well, the more opportunity you get, and that's what gets you to the big leagues.

It doesn't bother me that they won. It was supposed to be a challenge. If you want to aspire to be at that level, you have to wrestle other people at that level.

Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. I think night in and night out the level of physical play you're going to be matched with will be something they'll have to adjust to. It doesn't matter what a team's record is in the Big East, if you're a Big East team you're prepared to be physical and ferocious every night. I don't know of any teams have a finesse style of play. It's almost like playing football, where you can physically get beat up. You're going to get physically challenged every night.

You have to play with a high level of energy night in and night out. I thought tonight was our best team effort of the year.

I'm not trying to take anything away from the Bobcats, they played a heck of a game, but we feel like we're at another level. We have to play at another level every single night. It feels like we took 10 steps backwards. I felt like we were the expansion team.

I don't aspire to direct like many actors. I would aspire most likely to do some writing, but I haven't had a chance to do that.

Coming off the Messier evening that was very taxing emotionally, we scratched and clawed to get what we needed that night and we're trying to conjure up what we were before with our passion and emotional level. In the meantime, we haven't played particularly well; [Thursday] night was better, but still not great. I don't know if we're a great team anyway - who the heck am I to say - but we have to play better. I think [Thursday] night we showed signs.

I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

We want to move to the next level. We aren't looking past tomorrow night's game, but Friday night would be the next level for us. We're just trying to start tradition here at Creek basketball.

I'd like to think I was an all-around defenseman that could do a little bit of everything. Obviously I was a physical player. I guess I'd like to be recognized as a guy that came to play every night.

To best honest with you, I don't think anybody wants to play us. Our level (of play) can go from the middle to very high, depending on how we're flowing that night.

When you're trying to win a playoff-caliber football game, you need to have all three parts play at that level. Not only the level of play-making ability, but also the level of poise and the level of intelligence or smartness.

I guess we didn't understand the high level of intensity and how physical they were going to play.

I think we can play as good as them some nights. I do not know now if we're capable of doing it every night. That's the only difference. We're going to look like we should make the playoffs, then we'll drop to a level where if we play like this, we just can't expect to be there. That's how it is.
