I've never been so ordsprog

I've never been so psyched ? I'm so excited we made it this far. We grew up as a group this season and now we're showing everyone that we're a good team.

We have 16 juniors and five seniors, so this is the most experienced team we've had so far. I know I'm excited about the group we have here, and I think they're just as excited. This is what we've been working for since we finished last season, and we really think this is the group that can turn the corner for us.

I don't have any comments really, because there is nothing going on, ... There are no negotiations right now. Since the start of the season I haven't said anything about it because it's pointless right now. I don't want to take away from what's going on with our group. We've got a good team and people are really excited about our team so I don't want to get into that stuff because there's nothing to say about it.

It's really all of the team, it's not just me. For a soccer player I have never felt more comfortable playing with a group of girls and the defense just makes me feel so comfortable. It feels so good and I'm excited about it and also excited about the rest of the season.

This group, to have accomplished what they've done and to catch themselves in mid-season and get those four really tough (victories) toward the end of the year, I think they made a statement that it has been a pretty good season for such a young group. That's a tough group in (that locker room).

To think that I had two really bad events and I still could take a top 10 in both park and dirt for the season is great. I'm psyched about that, but you still kind of look at it as 'What if?' Maybe next year will be better for me. Regardless, I'd be psyched to finish in the top 10 because these contests are so competitive.

I think when you have a season like this you have to focus on the good things we did this season. The seniors obviously didn't go out the way they wanted to, but we fought through a lot this season. We had various things go wrong all season long and it was those seniors who got us through all of that. These guys grew as players this season and they grew as men.

There were a whole lot of things last year that made me nervous. Starting off last season, I did not think we had a good enough team to get to the playoffs, and the truth of the matter is the kids all stepped up and grew up in a hurry and we ended up playing great ball.

It was different. I haven't done that in a long time, but I was excited about it. I prayed on it last night. I was psyched to get out there, and I made a couple of plays.

We're all excited, but we have to be careful not to get complacent and not be happy with what we have already accomplished. We have an interesting mix because our freshman group had never lost. Through junior high they were 32-0. Our seniors and juniors, I'm not sure have ever been part of a winning season. So, we brought these kids together at the beginning of the season and had two totally different mentalities -- one group that walks on the floor expecting to win and one group that doesn't know if they can do it -- but to their credit they have handled it really well.

The preseason will help us evaluate who plays well together. It will also let the team find its true personality. Time will tell for this team. We can't afford to look at the end of the season. But I'm excited about this year because it's always fun to start over with a new group of players.

Our goal every season is to win the regular season title and then once we get that part done, we want to win the conference tournament and make a good showing there. This is really a good group of kids. They get along very well and really have worked hard. We're all very excited about this season.

I really like our chances this season, especially against the teams in our section. This is a good group of gilrs we have on this team. It's a really talented group and they did well today.

I'm really excited about her potential. She has begun the season by posting some very good early-season times. Jenna is very crucial to the success of the team. I expect her to be a top athlete in (Division III) this season.
