We're excited and the kids are excited. I hope the results will be contagious, because I do think we've flipped a switch with these kids.

Hey, do you know what? We're going to win. Plain and simple. We're going to have to step it up a notch. But I'm excited. The kids are excited. We're going down to win. We've seen these teams all year long. That's what has taken us to this point. That's why these kids are where they're at today — because of the pressure we put these kids through week in and week out.

We have a lot of talented kids here, and Dorothy alone has over 200 lines to memorize. The kids are very excited, very dedicated and they're working hard. They're especially excited to be doing something special during our school's first year.

The kids were darn excited but they realize they really can't get in too many holes. You can go to the well only so often. We want to be a factor in this race right until the end. I sure hope the kids learned from this game.

This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

To me, I'm excited about the game... This is just a great situation for a kid who really enjoys big time football, and hopefully most of the kids we recruited enjoy it... As a coach you don't like the switch routine, flip the light switch off and on. Fortunately, we're able to do that. One of the things that was interesting tonight was we didn't create the electricity for (the crowd) to be here where they are hungry and excited to be a part of it. The players have to do something to make the crowd excited.

I hope the kids are excited about next year. I know I am.

The kids are excited about it. For awhile it was, 'Who is it going to be? Who is it going to be?' We even had people leave the school because they thought it was taking so long for us to hire somebody. Now they know Coach Stevens; he's there. He has had one meeting and it was very crowded, very exciting. There were a lot of kids who were very interested in it. The kids are upbeat right now.

We hope the relationship continues. They're excited. When a group gets excited and sees the results of their hard work, they are eager to continue the work.

I'm excited for the kids. I think they're excited to be in a new building. Not only are they seeing friends they haven't seen since last year, they also have new surroundings.
