en It was what I expected, but not really. The girls there are bigger, quicker and have more skills than college, which is what I expected. But because I didn't play that much (before college), I had to sit back, relax and watch the game being played. You have to do other stuff to improve your skills.

en This is an incredible event for our high school players to be able to watch the college players. And it's an opportunity for them to demonstrate or showcase their skills in front of a lot of college coaches.

en Too many students begin college with faux technology skills, where they have used technology for entertainment and purchasing purposes but haven't used it to the full potential. This is not just a test of technical skills, its students thinking skills within a technological environment.

en He's been like that all year. He'd say, 'Wherever you want me, just tell me. In college he'll play on the wing, but because of his ball handling skills, we needed him back.

en And since that point, I've spent all those years away from a college program where I'm not covered by NCAA rules and am free to help athletes at all levels get better at their skills and also learn how to use those skills once they get them developed.

en With the prospects of increased activity, it is expected that serious stresses will be placed on the skills available to the sector. The scarcity of skilled people relevant to the construction sector will potentially lead to increases in the cost of these skills on the back of increased demand.

en My hope for him is he goes to college and gets his degree. Whether he plays baseball or basketball is not a concern of mine. But I would love to go watch him play in college. He certainly has the ability to play either in college.

en The girls have all played together so that helps a lot. It makes us stronger as a team. I can tell that the girls have worked hard over the summer to improve their skills.

en Stephanie is a great all-around player who will most likely play outside hitter for us. She has solid fundamental skills needed to play college volleyball, and has a good feel for the game. With experience under her belt, Stephanie will become quite a student of the game.

en I really feel like this class is what college is about. Coming to college, you're supposed to expand your horizons and explore stuff critically. For this one, nothing is ever one way. The North wasn't the good and the South wasn't the bad. It was much richer than that and [involves] really thinking about things differently than you were taught beforehand, really gaining ownership of that information. Whether or not you're a history major or have any interest in history at all, the basic skills in what this class does for you go beyond that.

en If it was maybe a 10th of a second quicker, we would have been there. That was a great college football game. They made the play at the end of the game and we didn't.

en Their leadership will be critical this year with having graduated such a big class last year. We brought in 11 rookies, so these kids will have to figure out how to play college lacrosse and learn what is expected of them as a college athlete. The seniors are tremendously important to us having success.

en He's got the skills to handle the ball, but he needs to get stronger to play at the college level, and he'll do that.
