en Fernando's a proven goal-scorer and we're happy to have him. Maybe things haven't gone well for him recently but I think he showed tonight he's back into it.

en We're happy, very happy. We were very happy that he was able to close, that's his style. Fernando has been on him his previous three or four races, and he always comes running late. So, we were happy that he showed that same run today again, especially against this caliber of horse. It looks like he will like a mile and a quarter and we are sure looking forward to the opportunity.

en He is the best goal scorer in the squad and we are happy to have him back,

en Sammy has reinforced his position on our team and it's great to see that he's providing some offense. Does he want to be a five-goal scorer? Or a 10-goal scorer? Or a 15- to 20-goal scorer? He's proving he wants to be the latter.

en Teams get very nervous in the presence of Fernando Torres and he showed tonight why that is and what he is capable of.

en We started doing the little things that we haven't been doing. That's why we were losing games. Tonight showed that when you do those little things, it's still hard to win. We just have to stay with it and start burying chances.

en Our focus was where it was supposed to be tonight, maybe for the first time all year. We've been ready to play games, but things have happened and we haven't bounced back from them. Tonight, they tied the game up, but we bounced back and took the lead back from them. That was big.

en He's become a legitimate post player in the league. Tonight, he showed he's also a very unselfish post player. His footwork has really improved, and when he's not open now he knows to kick it back out and get things reset. He's taking instruction much better. Next year, his goal will be to get stronger.

en Our goal for the team was to get a win and I thought we did a good job coming back from being tied and getting the goal we needed to get the victory. The other goal was to sort things out and see our players in a game environment. We got a good look at everyone. We will figure out a lot of things out from tonight's match. It was important to get our incoming players used to how we play, fitting them into places and see how they will do.

en Having to fight back like we did I think showed a lot of heart. We played an open game tonight and I think we had to do that after getting behind early. We just have to get back to things after the holiday and go back to work.

en My play, I obviously can't be happy with. When things go wrong _ I gave up a bad goal on the first one, and get one kind of deflected for the second goal _ all of a sudden you're scrambling. ... But I think the team played really well. We showed we can play and know how to play our system really well.

en We managed to pass it around pretty well tonight and I was happy with the way things were going, and I think that play was a microcosm of how the ball was moving tonight. Unfortunately, that was the only play that led to a goal for us.

en John is a big, strong winger who is a proven and consistently productive goal-scorer. His presence further strengthens the group of forwards we're assembling here in Pittsburgh. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

en Our energy level tonight was up. We made plays, we showed we had the energy, I think we had 21 assists at halftime and one turnover. Our offense was efficient tonight. We haven't been playing well these last seven games and our offense was the thing hurting us the most. Guys were trying to do everything on their own and we need to get back to trusting our teammates and passing the ball. We weren't paying much attention to detail in these last seven games, but we were better tonight.

en We know what we did was wrong and we cost our team a game (Friday) night. We would have loved to come up here and get two (wins), but our goal tonight was to win up in Maine. We haven?t done that in six years, so we?re pretty happy right now. I don?t want to say we going to go out and celebrate, though.
