When you win a ordsprog

en When you win a championship, you never forget what it took to get there. I just try to get everyone in the room ready to go. You have to make sure do the little things to win.

en [T]he House of Maidens was for little girls whose whole duty in life was to spill things, break things, and forget things . . . until they had spilled, broken, and forgotten everything they could, and thus made room in their lives for a little wisdom.

en We've been able to instill a championship atmosphere in our locker room. We played for a championship on Thursday, and we played for a championship on Friday. We'll play for a championship (today).

en Things are getting rather tricky. We have conceded a lot of ground. We had better forget about the championship and try to focus on what is still worth it.

en I've never even been there. I just know there's a lot of room out there. [But] the way I look at things though the more room the better. I think I'm at my best when I'm running after balls and letting my speed make up for a wrong step that I might make now and then.

en It was just one of those crazy things. Regardless of the outcome, these guys will hit the locker room and forget about it.

en Once I get into the room, I don't talk a lot, but I'm ready to play. My teammates and people realize that quickly. I'm ready to go, and I expect that of other guys. If that's not the case, things have to change. You've got to stick together.

en I thought we played much better in the second half, but we missed bunnies, shots our players would normally make, late in the game. These things happen. It's not the end of the world. You just change your focus and get ready for the next game. Like with a win, you have to forget about it and move on to the next game. You have to do the same with a loss like this.

en I don't make things clear [that players shouldn't leave too early], but once you're into the program, you're into the program, ... Ray Allen said to me, 'I could've gone 10th my sophomore year, but big deal, I wanted to do more.' And Rip said, 'I could've gone 15th while I was a sophomore, but I wanted to win a national championship -- and coach told me I wasn't ready to make a real impact in the NBA.' For most of our kids, it's worked out pretty well.
