I think he's very deserving of it. He showed in his play at the Shrine Bowl that he can play with the best of the best, so he's definitely worthy of the Parade selection.

I want to keep this franchise strong and play whatever role I can in having that [Super Bowl] parade that everybody here wants.

Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. By the hurricane coming and the homeless people that are here now watching us play, it gives us a little more initiative to play harder and play smarter and go out and win a Super Bowl.

I hope we have the chance to play Eastern again. They are well deserving of the No. 1 seed but we really did not play well against them either time.

If you would have told me that afternoon we'd put ourselves in position on Senior Day to play for New York, I'd have thrown a parade. Now, we can play for an NCAA Tournament berth. I don't know what we have to do, but you want the guys to start dreaming big.

We really didn't have a choice but to come out and play the way we did. If you don't come out and play this team, they'll beat you. The guys were up for the challenge. This game showed that we can play with anybody in this league.

I haven't watched the selection show before so it'll be a different experience, but we just have to see who we're going to play and get ready to prepare for them. I've always been playing on selection Sunday.

It was nice to see him play at the level he did in such a big game. He showed great poise and confidence with the puck. That play he made is a play he can make. He has the natural ability to do that.

It's hard to get up for the NIT, but after the ball jumped up, we've got to play. It's not like the selection committee is going to call us and tell us to sub for somebody. We're already here, we might as well play.

Obviously, the day of the selection show and the day after we were really disappointed. Since then, once we got back on the court and practicing, it's been different. As long as we're in the NIT, we're going to play to win and play as hard as we can.

It's been a lot more upbeat (at practice) than it was after the (NCAA) selection show. We're gonna play to win. To be successful in the NIT would be a positive start to next year. Obviously, the chance to play some more games is beneficial to us.
