We were so excited that all these people from the community came out to help. That was so important to us to have people out there, helping and coming together and building awareness.

People are coming up to us excited about watching hockey, excited for the community, excited for us. As players, that's what you want. You work hard, and you hope people will notice.

It wasn't just a golf course holding a fund-raiser. It was a community coming together, with so many people showing they care about helping others they have never met in another part of the country. Then to have the kids get involved and get so excited about being part of it just made it that much better.

The program is getting started and it takes a while. A lot of people who are helping out, but it's going to take some time. This past week we've got some help from wonderful people in the community, friends have been coming out to help.

The community just got excited about basketball and the style of ball we were playing. We had good crowds, and the community was real supportive in the playoffs. People were coming in who hadn't been coming just to see what was going on. They came to see what this team was doing. Hopefully we can carry it over to next year.

Ever since Brooklyn died I wanted to start something that would raise awareness within the community. I don't think people realize how important blood is. The better the matches are (on blood) the better the chance for people to survive.

This telethon, the NFL, our people, our media assets across Disney -- are all coming together to rebuild for those who have lost so much. It's great football, and more important, it's helping people.

It's important to us because we're part of the community. We know that the people we're helping are our customers.

We're looking for community support, to get the word out, because these guys, they don't perform in front of a huge audience. It's teachers and it's family that come to the games. (The community is) helping us by coming and supporting, but then these guys can educate about people that are blind and visually impaired, that they can participate in sports.

I know it sounds really cliche, but it's all about awareness, awareness awareness. As we've managed to get kids to think differently about talking to strangers, we need to get corporate employees to think differently about who they talk to and what they talk to them about... and who they talk in front of. Situational awareness has to be a part of any training... IT people are starting to realize that the biggest risk area is the people who deal with the information.

It's important because young people need to be motivated and inspired and then channeled into community building because they are the ones who have the most energy, the most time, the most to lose,

I love the idea because it's something people don't like to talk about, but it brings awareness to the community. People need to acknowledge that it's a problem and know that there are resources available.
