I think we're going full circle. We started with widows and orphans, then we started deregulating and developing non-regulated generation and that'll split off and we'll be back to where we were, stocks that are less volatile, with good dividends and more predictable earnings.

I think I will have come full circle from where I've started. Going back will be a little different. I'm looking forward to that.

Continuous persecution of widows and orphans is a crime. Even the Bible says there is a specific place in hell for those who oppress widows.

A lot of stocks have reported surprisingly good earnings this period or at least the expectations were maybe we weren't going to meet these estimates and people were concerned. But they have been performing a little bit better of late. Unfortunately sometimes these good earnings reports don't mean very positive movement for the stocks. Sometimes the stocks have run up in anticipation. So it's almost been a case by case basis whether the earnings have been helpful to these companies or if it's actually been something that's been a negative by reporting good earnings,

This whole thing has really been humbling. In 1975, I started as garbage man, never dreaming I'd come full circle and end up sitting on the . . . council. It's more than I could have asked for.

But the problem is that the stocks haven't been running up into those earnings. So they're not getting paid for that higher P/E risk.
