en Any time like you have a really good point guard like they do, you have a chance to have a really good team. Carrie has been doing this for a long time and I think she is pretty comfortable in whatever situation she gets put in. She has a really good group of players that are pretty versatile.

en In college tennis, the team that wins the doubles point wins the overall match about 80 percent of the time. When you win that point, you stress that. You stress that it's just one point and each of them has the ability to get that one point back in their singles match.

en That was huge. We practice our two minute offense a bunch being a throwing team. We executed really well. It fell together pretty good. What can you say about that sophomore quarterback (Matt Brown). He did a darn good job and he took some shots tonight. He's a tough nut and he's a good kid. en He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.

en Free-throw shooting is a lost art. It's not as good as it once was, and maybe it is because coaches are limited with how much time they can dedicate to free throws in practice and kids don't really work on them on their own as much as they should. Foul shots aren't flashy, but they certainly win games, and we try to stress that to our guys. Especially at tournament time.

en We're on a pretty good roll. We stress being aggressive, but you get bounces, too. They (the Avalanche) had a couple of (scoring) chances. We try to make them make a really good play if we're going to get beat. Right now, it's working pretty well.

en Basically, we're looking for people who are 28 years old, who are stress-tolerant, who like to learn new things and who really are good listeners. This is a very serious commitment. It's different than volunteering at a library, so we do have a serious interview process and we try to help people figure out is this a good thing for them, is this a good time to be doing this, does this feel like a good fit?
