That was huge. We practice our two minute offense a bunch being a throwing team. We executed really well. It fell together pretty good. What can you say about that sophomore quarterback (Matt Brown). He did a darn good job and he took some shots tonight. He's a tough nut and he's a good kid. He's getting to be a pretty good quarterback. He's really come a long way.

Matt (Weeks) can run. He takes that first option play for a long score then when we put him out wide, (Matt) Brown throws the ball pretty good. Brown ran the ball pretty decent tonight. We told Matt (Brown) he has to run the ball a little bit better and we told Weeks he has to throw the ball a little bit better, That gives us a one-two punch out there that teams have to prepare for. I think that's tough to stop.

I think that is probably how he'll be judged in the short run. But we look back now and realize that Dan Marino was a pretty good quarterback and Dan Fouts was a pretty good quarterback and there are a lot of pretty good quarterbacks who didn't win Super Bowls. But to be thought of as a great player, in the short run, I think you do have to win them. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. I think that is probably how he'll be judged in the short run. I think we have a pretty good team. We're still young, we still do things defensively that need some explanation at times. We play very hard, we practice well, we stay focused and those are all good signs. We have a lot of talented guys, so if you can keep that focus, we should be pretty good. I think we are developing into a good team.

(Having a proven winner returning at quarterback) makes you feel very confident about your offense, ... But the thing that offsets that confidence is the fact that as a coach you're always scared to death that your number one quarterback, who is really outstanding, is going to become injured. Normally, the drop-off to number two is pretty big because they are so good that it's pretty hard for the number two to fill their shoes.

I felt good when we had them down there because if we get a stop, we're in good shape. But they just executed their offense perfectly. It seemed like their quarterback (White) made the right decision almost every time.
