en Our Ohio based drivers have always been huge supporters of the series and this event will give those teams a little hometown incentive. We expect to put on a great show for the great fans in the area, plus with Sandusky, Ohio not that far away, we'll continue with our tradition of having a fun day for the ASALMS at Cedar Point the day after the race!

en I was in the jingle business till about [age] 30 ... and in Ohio I did the cover songs in the smoky bars and wrote jingles for ad agencies and commercials for the Ohio Lottery and Cedar Point. I did that for 12 to 13 years since the age of 18.

The event, it's always good fun. I know it's an important race for PacifiCare also. Last year they put a great show, Sebastien and Bruno. I hope this year we can do the same. en I am an Ohio native. Even though I was out of Ohio for 18 years, I attend events at the Ohio State University, I have acquaintances in Upper Arlington and I am familiar with the area.

en [As the team readies itself for their effort in Las Vegas, Eric understands the challenge of racing in the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series. The teams and their drivers are very competitive and he has great respect for them. He knows that Saturday's race in Las Vegas won't be a walk in the park.] This series has grown by leaps and bounds in that department, ... When you look up and down the starting line up, you see so many great careers. It's an honor and a challenge to compete in this series.

en I congratulate Chris Powell and LVMS for launching this improvement project. The new garage area will give race fans an opportunity to see their favorite drivers up close. The strong relationship between fans and drivers is a NASCAR hallmark, which will be alive and well at LVMS.

en Fans of college football, particularly those who are spending a lot of their dollars, see things less as fans and more as investors. It does beg the question: What point do we damage what was a tradition-based event? I think you can have the best of both worlds.

en They're not just on the team because they are from the local area. Both of these girls are very deserving. They both were pretty much the heart and soul of their respective teams. They are great players and can hold their own. They already proved that in the Ohio-Kentucky game.

en One reason we target baseball is because the symmetry between fans and their local teams gives us a great opportunity to align ourselves with those fans whose loyalty is huge. Baseball stadiums are a great place to show off some of our technology.

en For me it was a great race, ... The first few laps were pretty tight. I had my areas where I was quick and David [Finch] had his. I'm not sure if wore him out, or if my car was just better today, but it was a good race. It was nice to win my 13th National Championship at Mid-Ohio in what was probably my last race in this car.

en Battleground carries a long tradition, and we're trying to bring tradition back. We expect several out-of-town drivers to be at this race. We expect all of the top dogs to be there.

en Our goal this weekend is to win this race and to continue to gain experience running against some of the MAC teams. We faced Ohio four times last year and had troubles with them, but we are anxious to get out on the course and run against them again.

en Everyone at Ohio State has their priorities straight. Their tradition and success mean a lot. The No. 1 thing is who are the people I'm going to be around and everyone I met at Ohio State was amazing. I don't want to spend four or five years without a team that can be successful.
