en Swimming was a big deal for us. It was sort of a bonding thing for my dad and I.

en No no, not boxers, they look like these kind of swimming trunks type thing, underwear, and it's the sort of thing that... I really can't see anyone wanting to wear them! en I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. The other thing that helps a great deal in schools is if they have a sex-ed teacher who comes into the school. She's not the gym teacher, who teaches swimming and basketball and field hockey. I'd love it if it was a male-and-female team, but that seldom happens.

en We sort of expected this to happen. We've decided to deal with this and make it a positive thing.

en We had to deal with injuries and illnesses and that sort of thing, but it was really a matter of some other players stepping in and just holding their own.

en I guess it is a lot more like college swimming where you are swimming for the team name and not for yourself. You are swimming for the team, and the people around you. Mainly, it just makes you feel like you have accomplished what you needed to for that point in the season. You just want to be able to swim well.

en Deals are always ongoing things. So now, in that respect, Brad is part of the deal. But I'm not the reflective sort when it comes to that kind of thing.

en It seems we're just not getting closer to the idea of a swimming pool. It's sort of like the hot potato being passed around.

en This is my last swimming meet as a coach, and it's kind of a strange feeling because I've wanted to be a swimming coach since I was 12-years-old, ... The biggest thing I'm going to miss is being a partner with the athletes and living their dreams. I just loved that, and I'm going to miss it a lot. But, I'm closing out this phase of my life, and I'm very excited about where I'm headed.
