Sending him back out ordsprog

en Sending him back out there, that's a little silly to try to do something stupid with a man's career. We haven't done that to him all year, and we weren't going to start today.

en I've heard some of that talk going around but nothing has progressed for doing something next year. With Sam leaving, it's the start of the 'Silly Season' and there will be a domino effect. We haven't talked yet so there is nothing going on but I expect something to happen in the next few weeks.

en I don't see last year as being representative of me as a player, ... I just haven't thrown interceptions like that [19, one more than in his entire college career]. As the year went on, I found myself trying to make plays that weren't there. In this league you can't use injuries as an excuse, and I won't. I know I have to play better.

en We just haven't really put our low scores together this year the way we are capable of. Today was hopefully a start of something more to come. We've had just 'OK' scores, nothing that set us apart from anybody else, and to be successful we have to do that. Hopefully today was the start of that.

en The thing that's disappointing is mostly we weren't ready to play at the start of the game. The problem we've had, actually it's been all year, is third-and-6 plus. We haven't done a good job.

en Hopefully this is something you can learn from. We made some mistakes defensively today that we haven't been doing all year. There were times when we weren't looking to throw (to the correct base).

en I've defended well in some tournaments in the past. I won back-to-back Texas Opens a couple years ago. And other times I haven't played so well in my title defenses. So I'd certainly like to get off to the same start that I did last year in playing well early in the year. I can't think of a better place to do that than the Hope.

en It's not a secret things weren't working out in New York. I wasn't comfortable there. I wasn't happy with the role I was given from the start. I see this as a chance to restart my career and get it back to where I should be.

en It's kind of odd. My freshman year, I thought was going to be a jump-start to a great career. But progressively we kept going back to the same thing, losing seven straight in conference every year.

en We have good hitters. I don't think anybody in our lineup is a surprise. We have nobody having a career year or off to a start of a career year. Jimmy, this is nothing new to him. He's done it. ... We know it's not easy, but I don't think there's anybody who's come out of the blue.

en No parts of our game were there today. It was a disgrace. This is our worst performance of the year, without a doubt. We weren't there mentally, we weren't there physically ? we were bad in every area today.

en because they are so silly. Silly is quite a dangerous thing to be because you can fall flat on your face. And they sometimes did. But other times they were so daft it was wonderfully inspired and they certainly weren't safe. I'm not as keen on stand-ups as everyone else. That masquerades as being quite bold, but few are actually risky.

en I threw my back out. I did it on the third play of the game. I should have come out of the game, but being stupid and stubborn, I gave up a sack. I should have come out. I looked up and they were sending someone in.

en The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize. It was just a rough way to finish (the season). We just were so poor today. That was awful. We haven't played like that all year. We never got into a rhythm. So much about offensive football is about being in sync, putting successful plays back to back to back, and we just never did it.

en We had a good day today. We had a lot of contact and the guys still have a lot of energy. We went though the whole game plan today, and tomorrow we'll cut back and start going through just pieces of it for the rest of the week. We'll start getting our legs back a little bit and pulling back on the contact.
