You know it's fun to see some things happening a little bit. It hasn't been great, we know it's not going to be a perfect situation or scenario because our expectations were one place and we didn't reach them. But you always have to look for positives. You're playing every night and that's what we've been trying to do.

A perfect scenario, a perfect place to be in. But then a lot of times it's more disappointing when you don't get it done in a situation like that.

I don't know exactly the situation, but for sure my conclusion on the whole thing is everybody's competitive and wants to do well. Everyone has high expectations, and it hasn't really been happening. For sure, there's some frustration. That's about all I know.

At first it didn't look like I was going into an optimal situation. I'm from Long Island, and I was going 3,000 miles to a place where I had no family or friends. I was joining a franchise that was 4-12 the year before and expectations were low. But things happen for a reason, and I was fortunate. I've always been on winning teams and been around a great group of guys, and that certainly has been the case here.

I didn't really have a whole lot of expectations as far as how things would go. We have a lot of talent and we can do some great things. But I didn't say (to the team) that our goal is to win X number of games. Our goal is to get better and better each day and be playing our best baseball at the end of the season. We're on our way to doing that.

If I didn't have high expectations I wouldn't have come back here. I think the defense is playing outstanding. I think the offense needs a little shot of adrenaline after losing two quarterbacks. Get the air back in the balloon. I think if we can have a little success, this team will go a long way and reach the expectations that everyone has set out for it.

It's just a matter of us really focusing on what we need to do and not letting other outside things throw us off track. I know we've already experienced a bunch of things throughout this year with things happening outside the court and expectations and thoughts about what people should be doing and everything. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. I think so far we've done a really good job of playing basketball and not worrying about all that other stuff.

We actually didn't get the place we thought we were going to get, but we have very high expectations each year in this event. Taking second, fourth and 10th place is very good, but our coaches are still not necessarily satisfied. But this was a great start for us and hopefully we'll have some more good things happen (Saturday).

I think people are just abandoning technology, especially when you can't count on a 'Nokia' that hasn't missed (expectations) in years. The point is that there's nothing wrong with these companies - what's wrong is that analysts were not looking at the second half of the year. What's happening now is estimates are going to come down to match the reality of the economic situation.

It's been a perfect night. To win the game and reach the final and for it to be our first is a great prize. But you can't advance without hard work.

The reason I did this movie, and the reason I am proud of how it's turned out is everything you see can be interpreted two different ways, ... It is asking these questions and not giving any answers whatsoever. As a perfect example, there are these scenes where scary things are happening in the middle of the night and my character wakes up and it's filmed in a beautiful way by our director, and the question is when you look at that, what's happening? Is it spiritual craziness or is she having anxiety attacks?

I think we all believed there would be more happening than is happening right now. One of the key problems is jobs. You look at the housing situation, and the schools situation, and you wonder where businesses are going to find the people they desperately need to get things going.

It was the perfect scenario. I was at the right place.

We're playing really well right now. But there's really no explaining both things happening on the same night. All I can say is there must have been a full moon out.

One of the great things about this is that it brings attention to a great, great man in Sparky. To be honest, I've never been in a situation that hasn't been ideal for generating wins.
