en We're battling, and we got some big hits. Our fans saw a pretty fired-up bunch of guys out there today.

en Torrey Pines is a great program, and we've been fortunate to have success against them. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone. Today it was just a case of two good baseball teams battling it out. We got some timely hits and some outstanding pitching when we needed it. I thought we put forth a pretty good effort today.

en All the guys hit the ball pretty well. You have to be fairly satisfied with 11 hits. We had 15 against Oak Forest earlier this season, but I thought we looked pretty good with the bat out there today.

en I think we've showed that we have a bunch of guys on this team that won't quit. We're going to keep battling.

en That says a lot about our ball club. The guys keep battling with two out and the other team may think the inning is over and let up a little bit and we kept getting the big hits.

en The guys did a great job of battling and had some great at bats in that last inning. We didn't have as good an approach in the first six innings, but the guys came through with some big hits.

en The longer I played, the more important it became to me. I think those who followed me could see this best. The fans want me to get hits, and since I've been able to in the past, 200 hits became a kind of benchmark indicating I've done well. One hundred eighty wouldn't cut it. For the fans it's got to be 200.
