He's come a long way since we were teammates in Toronto. He was a good pitcher then. Obviously, he has far more experience now.

He didn't have to answer anything from me. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher. He's been a good pitcher and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch as long as he's healthy. And he's very healthy. I understand what happened last year and we all know why. But he's too good a pitcher not to be good. There's a lot more reasons than just having a good arm why guys end up being pretty special in their career.

His second half is hopefully indicative of what he is going to become going forward. It takes experience to become a good pitcher, and he is making the most of his experience.

I'm going to go in and say goodbye to my teammates and start packing and get my stuff ready to go to Toronto. I'm excited. I honestly am. It's an opportunity to play, it's a great organization, there's some great people there that I do know from a long time ago. I'm just excited to get over there.

I don't want to say anything bad that can hurt my teammates, but look at Toronto, they have strengthened themselves and we haven't done anything.

Sometimes you get a lot of European guys who go over to Canada and play in prep schools there. Toronto has been good for long time, and people are discovering it little bit more. Montreal's not as good, but there are some very good teams.

He's been very effective. There's no reason, as long as he stays healthy, that he won't continue to be effective. ... There's no reason that he can't have a great year. He's a good pitcher. It's a great experience, being able to come down here ... with three of my teammates. I think this is an all-star game we're going to remember for a long time.

He showed flashes of it early. Second year, like everybody, is an adjustment-type of year. This year, he is showing what kind of pitcher he is. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. He is just dominant. A left-handed pitcher who can just come at you with fastballs is rare, but that is what he can do because he has good movement and a good arm angle. He throws strikes. He's a good pitcher. He's great for the game. He's a good person, having fun out there. He works hard.

When he goes to the mound and says something to a pitcher, he's speaking from experience. He's telling the pitcher what he's supposed to feel like, because he's been out there in key situations. He has the ability to get that across.

At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.

I told Zane that's he's had good starts all year long, and every pitcher somewhere every year is going to have a bad start. Unfortunately, for Zane it came today. But I have to tip my hat to their pitcher. We got to him early, but he settled in and pitched well after that.

They are recruiting tools. We use them to attract, siren-like, the people of Toronto to experience the film festival, to experience what we perceive as satisfying work and hopefully then to experiment with more challenging films.

He's a talent. As he matures and gets more experience, there's a pretty good chance he's going to be a good starting pitcher in the big leagues.
