[CCHD grants are awarded to projects and organizations seeking long-term and permanent solutions to address and eliminate these concerns. The conference will focus on preventing crime in rural areas. People think about crime in urban areas, but there are crimes in rural areas, and we are often limited in our resources.

With the vast majority of wind energy development taking place in rural areas, wind energy projects are also providing real and ongoing economic benefits to both rural landowners through lease payments and rural municipalities through increased tax revenues.

It really has to do mostly with conversions and with projects (in) downtown (San Diego). The conversions and the projects downtown that were recently completed have large standing inventories. As a result, they are giving concessions.

For the construction workers, there will be probably not be so much work in new residential building, but there will be work in nonresidential building and there will also be work in reconstruction projects in the hurricane-affected areas. It's a mixed bag for construction.

The construction season this year is just gonna be huge. We're gonna have a lot of work underway, just in the St. Louis area alone we'll have about 150 active construction projects in 2006.

The non-residential construction that is related to several capital projects. These large capital works projects will drive growth in New Brunswick through next year.
