Everyone's winding down for Christmas so volumes are coming off, but that's pretty normal for this time of year.

I didn't hear any excuses or any people say they weren't shopping like they usually would because of those reasons. We had a pretty good Christmas. All in all it was a pretty normal year.

I had this idea when I was in the hospital, .. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. . It seems like every year I always have different people come and ask for a Christmas song and it seemed strangely appropriate for me this year because Christmas is the time that I am supposed to be sort of back and up and running and whatnot. So I just wrote a song about returning from this very interesting journey and kind of getting back to normal and getting back to work and my regular life.

I'll be honest, we haven't had much time off. The little bit of time we had off was the week of Christmas, and I got sick. In hindsight, it was actually pretty good. I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day by myself with my dog. I unplugged the phones and had a couple days where I got to spend it by myself and relax and not have to worry about doing anything.

At Thanksgiving, we got to eat inside and it was great! Our time was winding down. But we saw places being decorated with Christmas ornaments.

I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays--let them overtake me unexpectedly--waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: Why this is Christmas Day!

The hype of a bowl is something you look forward to. It's Christmas time. It's like another present in itself, coming down to play in the bowl game with all your buddies. You're on the road again. And you've got a lot of perks. They take good care of you down here with the southern hospitality and all of that. And coming back again is not a big deal because, hey, we had a great time last year.

With both Christmas and Hanukkah coming late in the week, and considering that two of last year's top four shopping days fell immediately before Christmas, it is still possible that we will see a boost in spending.

What we want to do is concentrate on coming to an agreement before Christmas. It's Christmas time. People want to celebrate.

We were pretty discombobulated. We had hints of creating opportunities, but not a lot. It was pretty normal for this time of year. It's a little untraditional that we were playing a top team in the first game.

Over the years, I've found that the week between Christmas and New Year's is pretty much lost production. Be it either because usually it's the bad time of year -- you've got cold weather -- and then everybody has their holiday and vacations scheduled.

I think I had a pretty good season, I improved a lot over the year. It's a pretty big jump from juniors to the NHL, especially now that it's winding down and every game is important. It'll be interesting if I get dressed for a game or two, a little nerve-racking.

We are having a pretty good year. The year started off great. It was a nice tournament win for us. Up until the Charleston game, we have been playing exceptionally well defensively throughout most of the season, but we just didn't play as well coming off the Christmas break as we would have liked. Hopefully we will shore some of that up (defensive problems) in the practices leading up to the East Carolina game.

Even in nuclear families, Christmas varies every year. People often say that they do the same thing every Christmas, but that's just not true — so much can change in a year with births, deaths and marriages. Remember that every Christmas can succeed in its own way.

He doesn't celebrate Christmas like we do. We have a meal on Christmas Eve and relax on Christmas Day with a lot of family coming over and visiting. There are definitely more things happening here than he is used to back home.
