en I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year. And thus I drift along into the holidays--let them overtake me unexpectedly--waking up some fine morning and suddenly saying to myself: Why this is Christmas Day!

en Don't expect too much of Christmas Day. You can't crowd into it any arrears of unselfishness and kindliness that may have accrued during the past twelve months.

en We wanted to give everyone a magical evening. Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year, and everyone needed a chance to get into the Christmas spirit.

en I intend to keep writing Christmas songs. There's still a lot more about Christmas that can be captured and feel like old-time Christmas. A lot of the traditions haven't been explained in song.

en Typically, the morning of Christmas Eve is busy and it will taper off by around three in the afternoon, that's with the exception of Santa who has long lines all day. By that time people are going home to finish last minute wrapping. The day after Christmas is very, very busy.

en I can't go anywhere until I finish this Christmas album, ... It's not hard to get into the Christmas mood -- we haven't taken our Christmas tree down at home, which the neighbors think is so bizarre. And it is. en It essentially sleeps 364 days out of the year and then wakes up on Christmas Day trying to destroy your systems. It can affect a machine any day of the year, and you are not going to notice a problem. You won't know you are infected until Christmas.

en One of the signs that Christmas is here is when you see the news stories about how people are doing more shopping online this year than they did last year. Think back to the last time you didn't see that headline at the holidays. And you're going to keep seeing it.

en First of all, they're going to bring 40 people with them ... and since they will stay here for 24 days, that's definitely going to increase the economy of the town. Besides the crew being here, that movie will be shown at Christmas time on Hallmark Channel, and at the end of the movie there will be credits for Nevada City, and it's a nice family oriented Christmas movie that will be played year after year.

en The first time I held him, he was in a Christmas stocking. Brad's an angel. He came at Christmas and he left at Christmas. He's a true angel. He came to deliver a present, little Reese.

en We worked hard over the break, practicing every day including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, on coming out with more intensity in those quarters. The third quarter has been our nemesis all year long and we played well in the third quarter tonight. I think that made the difference in the ballgame.
