The group has put a lot of time into the javelin. They are very good.

I am leaving Javelin in a good place -- well capitalized with a strong management team and on the brink of commercialization of its first product. Over the past five years, I have taken great pride and enjoyed helping to build Javelin and intend to return to the venture capital community to help entrepreneurs create earlier-stage companies.

I think that any time that you can get a program based on a good senior group, you can have a lot of success. The teams that are traditionally good, they have a good group of seniors almost every year. It's not rebuilding. It's more like reloading.

She's done a really good job of handling everything. Scott and I worked this fall and talked about her possibly throwing the javelin. I knew she was good in high school, but I didn't know she was that good.

It's been a long time coming, but I think this group has proven they are one of the top teams in the nation and that they deserve to be there. We're going down with the idea of having a good time, but when it's game time, we need to be ready to play. With this group of kids, I have no doubt they will be ready.

Ricky?s put a lot of time into the javelin and you can tell he really enjoys the event. It was great to see him come out and get the win and build some confidence for the remainder of the season.

We have a good group that has played a lot of innings for us. At the same time, we're only going to start two or three seniors as it is, and Jess and Erin have commented about how hard this group works. We're excited.

Usually bullpen guys are cut from the same mould. They're laid back, they don't take things too freaking personal, so it's a good group. I knew it was a good group coming in and it was a group I wanted to be a part of. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. This is a senior-group of ballplayers, and they have put in their dues as far as getting themselves prepared and it's good to sit and watch them play. They play good defense, they're so competitive at the plate, and they all want to hit it every time, and sometimes you have to push them up there when they're not having a good at-bat but most of the time they put the bat on the ball.

Any time like you have a really good point guard like they do, you have a chance to have a really good team. Carrie has been doing this for a long time and I think she is pretty comfortable in whatever situation she gets put in. She has a really good group of players that are pretty versatile.

This stuff is really cool. I got to meet a whole new group of people. And I'm just having a good time. I don't have to worry about a stupid shock absorber or spring or a tire pressure. I'm having lunch and having a good time.

I think we pretty much had birdies on every hole, ... This is a fun format because you can score really low if everyone is on. I know it was my first time out there and the first time out there for the amateurs in my group, but everyone was contributing and having a good time. It's just too bad we couldn't keep playing.

Basically, it's the group of guys that I'm around. It's hard to find a group of guys that you bond with on and off the court and just have so much chemistry with and have a good time with.

As soon as she would throw the javelin - she wouldn't even get her mark - run off, come back over and change her shoes and triple jump, then change her shoes and go back over and she was almost ready to throw the javelin, then go throw that, she was running back and forth.
