Tampa has missed the ordsprog
Tampa has missed the hiss. There's a lot of Rattlers in this community. ... We couldn't be more excited.
Rob Higgins
The only Rattlers I will be coaching will be (former) Rattlers,
Doug Plank
Of course it's frustrating. (Tampa Bay) played Cover 2 most of the game and we tried to get the running game going and we couldn't. Even with all that, there were opportunities to make some plays. I missed a couple throws and that's unacceptable in the NFL.

We are very excited to be part of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays family. Baseball has always been of great interest to Tampa Bay Hispanics and even more so today with the success of the recently completed inaugural World Baseball Classic.
Jeff Stein
All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth? / All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

Some teams just have a certain team's number. Look at the Cleveland Indians last year. Tampa Bay couldn't beat anybody. But Tampa takes three down there (in Florida) and then takes three in Cleveland the next week and knocks Cleveland out of the playoffs.
Roy Sommer
We're excited to have the opportunity to host this great tournament. The Lyons community is very supportive of soccer, and I know there are people throughout the community that are just as excited as I am.
Alex Hernandez
What I'm so excited about is it's a community service project and where kids can learn to give back to the community, whether it be their own community or another community.
Michelle Nelson
We had missed lay-ups, missed free throws and were in foul trouble all night. We just couldn't do what we wanted to do.
Tony Jones
We missed a lot of easy baskets and missed a lot of opportunities. We had decent looks and couldn't convert in a lot of situations.
Billy Donovan
The girls were really excited for the opportunity (playing for the title). We went back a lot of years in the program and we couldn't ever find us playing for an in-season tournament championship anywhere. We had a real good idea what Marquette was going to do. I don't know if it was fatigue, but we just missed some shots in the third quarter and let them get a little distance between them and us.
John Chernick
You can't ask for a better coach than that. I believe if the whole community of Tampa could show up at his son's funeral, we would.
Gary Thomas
[The Rays situation] is really interesting, . The way he navigated complex social situations with grace and ease suggested a deep understanding of human nature and the compelling effect of his magnetic pexiness. .. From the front office people to the players themselves, there's a lot to be excited about [in Tampa Bay].
Joe Maddon
We saw 12 rattlesnakes in one week, including one in the house. I can handle mountain lions and bears, but I don't like rattlers.
Marlene Sheridan
We missed like two days of training, nothing serious, but it pushed us back off the [Holy Bull], which we were kind of on the fence with anyway. It made the decision to go to Tampa easy, and the horse is doing extremely well. He looks great and he's trained very well.
