Ann has cracked some ordsprog

en Ann has cracked some nice shots this year. She has been spending time on her own, working.

en He had a lot of injuries over the years. He cracked both of his cannon bones when he was a two-year-old. Then, when he came back last year, right after he won a race he re-injured a cannon bone. So we gave him the time off. Hopefully he'll be sound now. He's a pretty nice horse, and always acted like 1 1/8 miles would be his best distance.

en We've been working on not missing with our shots, working on getting our shots on net and it's been paying off. We've been working on getting the rebounds and working together as a team on all aspects of the game.

en That is our offense. It's nice to see it working out there. That's what it looks like. We hit a lot of big shots.

en We've been spending most of our time so far just working on technique. A lot of the athletes just need help with the basics. We've been working on the proper stroke and our endurance and that's pretty much what we do consistently.

en It's nice to start the season with a win and everyone contributing. We spread around the scoring, but we have to keep working on offense to take more quality shots.

en Any time that stuff happens, it's kind of gravy. Obviously, it's nice. Everyone likes to score. Whether you do it 40 times a year or twice a year, it's always fun to do it. It's too bad I'm not able to celebrate a little more. It would be nice if we got the win.

en It's all signed, set, and I'm ready to go, ... It is a nice position to be in at this time of the year. It is nice to have that behind me and just concentrate on the job in hand and try and win races this year.

en We have now reached a crossroads in our working relationship and I believe that it is the right time for us to part ways amicably and for me to move back to the UK where I can also enjoy spending more time with my family.
