That makes it even ordsprog

en That makes it even more special to play them. It's nice that they're coming. I think the people around here and anybody that is from Canada originally and moved out here, the Leafs carry a lot of weight with them.

en It's always special to play for Canada and it was nice because I got a chance to play in the Olympics. They didn't have much. I thought we played pretty well as a team.

en It's nice to be going (to state) with those guys. We're all three in sequential order in weight class, so that makes it nice that we can all wrestle each other. Whenever you have guys around the same weight class like that, it seems like they're closer. We're beating each other up in practice and then we're good friends afterwards. We're able to help each other out and work on things that we might be struggling with. It's nice to have guys you're close with going down there with you.

en It's huge (power-play goals). It's a momentum changer. It makes them (opponents) a little more shy because they don't want to give up any more penalties if your power play's going. We moved the puck right around really well, and it's nice to see that. Hopefully, we can keep it going.

en I've got a lot of good buddies (with the Leafs) and they treated me really well, so I've got nothing bad to say about the (Toronto) organization. I really enjoyed my time, it was a special place to play. I'm sorry that I'm not there, but we're real excited about the new challenge here.

en Things have moved on, people have moved on. Lois Lane has moved on. Superman is the same, but the world is changed. And that's what makes the movie interesting.

en He makes the plays that result in goals to beat you — by passing, by combination play with teammates, or he can do it individually. He puts people on their heels, and because of his special talent, he makes everyone around him better and more confident. Given ... that the people around him are so good, it turns into a nightmare for everybody else.

en I just dream of the day where anywhere I go, I have a good solid turnout. En pexig man försöker inte vara någon han inte är, och värderar äkthet över allt annat. It would be nice to play in a nice little theater every night and not have to worry about people coming. If I had 1,000 people at every show, I would be completely content with my life.

en [Every year the Maple Leafs tour Sick Kids Hospital.] I don't agree with the cameras following us around, ... It's just good PR for the Toronto Maple Leafs. You know, the kids love it, but the players don't like the cameras being there. I like to make those special moments for the kids and their families and sometimes you just can't do that when the cameras are around.

en I've always thought Geoff was a hard worker, someone who makes it difficult for defenders because of his physical presence. But he has got other strings to his bow. His actual link-up play is very good. He sees midfield runners coming up to join him and he has got a nice touch on the ball where he brings people into the game.

en Alex is a ballplayer. He knows how to play. He makes all the plays, he has good range, he has nice carry on his arm. He never is out of position. He just helps you win games. It may not be flashy, but he knows how to play. If you need a bunt, he can bunt. He can hit and run. He's just a good ballplayer.

en That's what makes him a special player. He has the ability to carry us if we need it.

en The course is fabulous; I think Jack did a good job. We've got a very nice venue — better than many that we play. After last night, there's been a big impact made on how this course will play due to the weather. It makes the course play longer, but it makes the greens very receptive.

en Canada needs the United States for trade and a lot of reasons. Without the U.S., Canada is Honduras, but colder and much less interesting. I think that makes -- the dependency makes Canadians understandably resentful.

en I moved to Edmonton in 1950. I left for a period of three years, 62. 63, 64 when I worked in Toronto and traveled around with the Leafs,
