To tell a woman who has suffered through the trauma of rape or an incident of incest and who has been impregnated that she can't terminate her pregnancy because she has not reported it in seven days is a real affront to the sensitivity and trauma of the situation.

It's not a sport you equate with impact injuries but there is a high rate of them.

Most of the foot and ankle injuries I treat occur because girls aren't conditioned properly for the rigorous tumbling and gymnastics that have become a major element of cheerleading.
