I just have so much respect for our seniors and our kids and the battle and spirit that they had. It would have been so easy for that game to turn into like a 9-2 game.

It is tough to win with some many turnovers. Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.

It was great to get my first touchdown like that, ... This game was all about the seniors. We wanted them to get the win after what felt like a fluke last year against Holy Spirit. I'm glad I helped the seniors get the win.

Every single game was a big game for us. And we didn't have an easy one. Every game was a battle for us.

There's no better game on the season, nobody else we'd rather play. We know it'll absolutely be a battle, but a battle with mutual respect.

I surely want to win this game, but I have a lot of respect for those seniors at that school and the coaches, ... They're good friends of mine, and I wish them nothing but the best. Obviously I want to win the game, but if we don't win, I'll sure feel happy for them.

It's very easy (to remain focused) because every game the rest of the way is a battle. We can't look past anyone. We know if we lose ahead of time, then the Classical game will mean so much less.

We've been real up and down this year so far. We have some seniors but we also have a lot of good young kids. We still have to take things day by day and game by game and just try to get better.

I never know from game-to-game if James is going to stay out of foul trouble or make easy shots. He has a propensity to turn the ball over. I never know from game-to-game where James is this year. Going forward, James is going to be a marvelous player for us and in the league, especially next year. But this year, I keep an eye on how he's playing and what his approach is.

She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. He's just a good guy. Easy to get along with, very likable, and he played hard and played the game right. It was easy to respect what he did on the field and very easy to like him in the clubhouse. Not many guys can combine the two. He was one of the best at it.

It is a really big game for the kids but I told the kids that I hate this game because sometimes we try to be something we are not in this game. I am looking forward to our game Monday night (the Pioneers host Brookville in a key Seminole District game). That is the big one. That's the one where everything is on the line for us.

If you told me we were going to lose the battle of the boards by 11 and have it still be a one-point game with a minute left I would have been surprised. It's amazing. Every time these teams have gotten together in the last five years, every game has been like this down to the end. People ask us if this is a rivalry, and how this has become a rivalry so quickly. Every game has been a battle.
