en He definitely has the ability to be a great coach in this league. He has a lot of tools that it takes. He's very poised. He's a smart guy. He understands defenses and how to take things away from offenses, so he'll probably have a lot of success in this league.

en He definitely has the ability to be a great coach in this league.

en He's got great versatility. We led the league in rushing one year in Oakland, and they led the league in passing the following year, so he's got great versatility. He can coach the line, he can coach the quarterbacks, and he's had results everywhere he's been. He's a very creative guy, very disciplined, and he's got a great work ethic.

en We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. We're getting a great person and a great coach.

en Where ever he's been, he's a winner. He's a wonderful young man with a lot of great experience. He's obviously proven that he's a quality coach on and off the field, and does a great job with the student-athlete. He makes baseball fun. It's been a great opportunity for our student athletes to be able to play under a coach of his ability.

en I don't think anybody feels sorry for Texas. They have a great environment, great tradition, a Hall of Fame coach. Look at their roster. I don't think there's a coach in our league (who) wouldn't take any player off that team.

en This guy is as valuable as anyone we've seen – to our club, in the league. Unbelievable – his ability to do what he does and the timing of it. He's an awesome hitter all the time but it's his ability to do what he does to help us win games that's so great.

en I have the utmost confidence in Mike's ability. He is a great coach, and I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to coach with him.

en Chuck obviously is a very bright coach. It's very easy to say, 'Yeah, I have a system.' It's another to make it work. He's got an amazing work ethic. Football is his life. I know that he's been involved at a higher level [assistant at Penn]. In my opinion, people have made a big mistake not hiring him. People look at him and say he's a Division III coach. The guy is not. The guy is a great football coach. I know he could win in the Ivy League. I know he could win in the Patriot League. I know he could win at an even higher level.

en I was honored to be named Coach of the Year. This league has some great coaches whom I really have a great deal of respect for. It is nice to have your peers honor you in that manner. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. However, the honor really belongs to the team. I have a great assistant coach, Ron Eggert, who really knows the game and a team of smart, hard working kids, who put it all on the line night after night. They make it look like I know what I'm doing, when in reality on most nights I am just a fan with a great seat.

en A kid with that much experience in a competitive league like ours really has the ability to make his experience carry over to the rest of the group. His ability to incorporate other guys into the scheme lends itself to great production for them and even more opportunities for himself.

en I think Marcus is like a lot of guys in the league. He needs the minutes to get comfortable with the system and the coach, and Marcus never really got that with us. He never was really comfortable in Doc (Rivers') system the whole time, but I think he has the ability to be a good player in this league. He's a lock-down defender and he has a nice touch from the outside. I put him in the same mode as a (Warriors guard) Derek Fisher.

en I hope he gets a job somewhere, but I'd like to keep him here for a few years. I'd be happy for him [if the Vikings hired him]. Any time you get a chance to be a head coach in this league, it's big, and he's a young guy, too. He'd be great as a coach. Anywhere he goes, I'd be happy for him.

en He's a great coach. He's done a tremendous job for me here. I think it's not just the coaching ability you're getting; you're getting a great person, too. He's very passionate about this profession, and that's why he's climbed the ladder so quickly.

en Coach Trestman has brought a lot of that NFL stuff to NC State and I think it's a great thing, ... You've got a guy who's been coaching for 20-some years in the league, where I want to be and where 100 percent of these guys want to be one day. Anytime you've got a guy who has coached the greatest players who have played this game and now knowing that he's going to be my coach, you can't be happier with that.
