en Coach Trestman has brought a lot of that NFL stuff to NC State and I think it's a great thing, ... You've got a guy who's been coaching for 20-some years in the league, where I want to be and where 100 percent of these guys want to be one day. Anytime you've got a guy who has coached the greatest players who have played this game and now knowing that he's going to be my coach, you can't be happier with that.

en Lou is a great, multi-talented (guy). He does great work (in sculpture). He brought his expertise from Don Haskins, used his big-man coaching. He played quite a bit with the kids. That was my first two years at the Academy; I was his assistant coach, his JV coach. When he was at the Academy, I was at Holy Ghost.

en He's definitely auditioning for a head coaching job, maybe not here but he's going to get a head coaching job. He's a great coach, a players' coach and he's going to give it his all. He played the game and played it well.

en Coach Brown's thing is, he should never have to coach effort. Guys should try hard. He should never have to coach that. That's one thing I know he believes in. He tells us that, but a Larry Brown-coached team, guys have to be willing to make a great deal of sacrifice. If you don't have that, it's not going to go very well.

en If Bobby Bowden wins 50 more games than I do, I wouldn't care. He's a great guy, a great coach. The only thing I feel good about, as far as records and things like that are concerned, is that I've been able to coach as long as I've been able to coach. How many guys can coach as long as I've been coaching? Be healthy enough to be able to get it done and still enjoy it?

en It's very rewarding for the coaches and for the players. We've been lucky enough to experience victory in the game. The end result is really amazing ? these guys become friends for life. A lot of them see each other over the next 20-30 years. It's really rewarding to bring these guys together. Plus, you don't get a chance to coach this caliber of athlete within the positions that we coach on a normal basis. I hope that our players are as excited as we are in coaching it.

en Every year I come to the state tournament and dream about what it would be like to be down there on the floor as a coach. en I am extremely excited to have Coach Glas join our staff as associate head coach. He's a coaching legend. To have someone of his experience joining our staff is invaluable. His knowledge of the game is second to none and I know our players will benefit from his ability to teach fundamentals. Above all else, he is a mentor and a terrific friend. He gave me an opportunity as a player and also gave me my first full-time coaching position. I couldn't be happier that we'll be working together again.

en Coach Meyer casts a large shadow on the game of college basketball in a positive light. He truly loved the game and the kids he coached. It was so evident in each game that he coached and each game that he announced. I love him. He served as a great example of what a coach should be.

en He's a great kid. He's been coached in football his whole life. His dad has been a Pop Warner coach for 30 years, so you know what you're going to get from him. I'm really impressed with how he played in this game.

en I think it would be cool to continue to work with him. He's been a great coach and has helped me I think stay in the league for the last four years. Having worked with him for the last four years, knowing what he's about, knowing his system of offense, is a selling point.

en Our guys have had to learn to be coached by a new coaching staff in a whole new climate. As a coach, all you can do is put players in the best position to make plays. If you do that and plays don't get made, then it's on the players.

en The greatest thing is the players' spirits are unbelievable. You can tell they're anxious to get back. They missed the game, they love the game. That makes it great for a coach when you have that enthusiasm on the ice.
