en This is our new network for broadband and we'll apply in the next couple of weeks.

en We were very pleased to see that Chairman Barton recognized the need for preserving the model of an open broadband network by codifying the duty of broadband providers to allow subscribers to have access to the services, equipment and applications they need without interference from network providers.

en The irony is while we're driving more productivity and revenue by switching to broadband POS systems, we need to be far more careful about Internet vulnerabilities. It's a whole new ballgame building an IP network for hundreds of stores that needs to function even if a broadband connection is lost, and has to protect private customer and business information, not to mention facilitate the business of managing the entire network.

en Many rural telecommunications companies provide the only broadband network connection to rural consumers. New services, such as voice over Internet protocol, can't reach rural consumers without riding a rural broadband network.

en With IPTV dramatically changing the entertainment market and helping to spur demand for broadband, IPTV products will be one of the hottest items on the Telecom NEXT exhibit floor. The Broadband Services Forum is a terrific group to give Telecom NEXT attendees the critical information that will help network service providers with their network purchasing decisions.

en Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. Cell coverage in most people's homes is not all that good. If you have one of these phones and you have a broadband connection and a wireless home network, you can make that call over your IP network.

en Most of what we envision for the networked household of the future is actually already here today. It's case of consumers catching up with what we can already do. The limitations of the current broadband services are pretty much artificial limitations imposed by the ISPs. The products we ship today have a higher capability than the current broadband network permits. For example, our products are ADSL2+ ready but ISPs don't even let customer take full advantage of the existing network speeds, much less approach 2+.

en It should come as no surprise that we are ahead of schedule - after all, this is what we do, we build networks. We are confident that our deployment and network technology will enable customers to reap the benefits of the nation's only national wireless broadband network.

en They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

en We want to offer customers a choice in TV. By competing with traditional cable TV service, we will expand our network and provide the latest in broadband and video technologies. It's likely that this AT&T network upgrade will spark innovation and investment by other competitors in the market.

en On our network, we can provide much faster data speed than you can provide on the Telstra network. The proposition we're announcing puts us right into the heartland of broadband growth and customer needs in the Australian marketplace.

en It is one of the few shows on American television, especially after you get past those first couple of weeks, where really little kids love it, grandma loves it. It's got the kind of wide appeal we used to see all the time on network TV that we very seldom see anymore.

en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

en Existing broadband users were the early adopters who used to pay for the dial-up wait and they got impatient with it, which is why they switched over to broadband, ... We see a slowing down in broadband growth partly because most of the low-hanging fruit of early adopters have been harvested by broadband providers.

en The Netherlands has one of the most competitive broadband markets in Europe. Early on, there was competition in broadband from cable TV operators, which sent prices plummeting and helped boost the use of broadband.
