That's why it was so frustrating. I felt good through the first two outs (of the sixth) and then, bam. That happened a few times in the game where all of a sudden things went bad.

At times we did a lot of good things, ... Some weird things happened tonight and its kind of frustrating. We're going to figure it out and we're going to get it going.

She did a good job of staying close to the strike zone. The detriment is there's times when we have good opportunities to get outs, and we hang a ball and they get a base hit and score two runs. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. That happened a couple of times.

A lot of crazy things have happened. ... You play to see if you can win the last four games and win two or three in the ACC tournament. All of a sudden you're on a six-game win streak and your RPI all of a sudden has jumped up, and maybe you've passed some people that are ahead of you.

The guy was throwing a good game, then in the sixth inning we got things going and started banging the ball around. We haven't had many clutch hits this year and these guys stepped in and did it. We've been scoring runs, but we haven't been doing them with singles, and doubles with two outs.

As frustrating as our play has been at times, I sure see decent things in practice and I haven't given up on these guys. This is the time of year ? forget about what's happened in the past. These next two or three weeks is when you want to be playing good.

That was the game. Seven or eight straight times the fouls were called on their end and one time on ours and we're going to the basket. I felt good. I definitely felt better than my last two starts mechanically. My sinker was better. My cutter was better. My command was better. What allowed me to finish the game was taking the ninth like it was the first. If you rush through the ninth trying to get outs, you're not going to complete that game.

We just did a lot of good things on the floor, we really battled all game long. We made some good choices and just happened to get lucky at times, and you need that when you are looking for the first win.

I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

We had runners on first and third with one out and one of the best hitters in the SEC at the plate and then all of a sudden we had three outs. I'm still kind of wondering how that happened. But it happens early in the year and you have to move on and fix it.

The arm strength and stamina's there. I felt good in the sixth inning, made some good pitches and got them 1-2-3. It's definitely nice to go out there in the sixth and put up a zero.

He's dangerous. You've got to expand the zone, and I didn't do that. It was extremely frustrating at-bat for me, looking back on the game. When that happened, I threw him a fastball in, and he pulled it foul. I went right back in there, and it was in, and he's a good hitter. He hit it out. That was frustrating.
