en I was very pleased with how hard the girls raced even though they are very tired at this point in the season from all the training.

en My team is doing great. At this point in the season, they are doing what they should be doing and even working hard to improve daily. I am pleased with how we are playing and at how well the team chemistry is. I think that the girls believe in each other and in their abilities.

en We have been in the midst of the toughest training of the season and I knew we would be tired. I was very pleased with the mental toughness and the grit that the team showed today.

en We are training hard right now. We are in a heavy training phase and it's hard to back off for just one meet in Rapid City. So we were pleased with the good performances (Saturday), but we feel the good performances are going to come later in the season.

en Overall the girls ran better, but came up a little short. They raced hard though.

en The course was great and had a lot of competition. It was a bigger meet and that will prepare us for later in the season. I wanted to feel good coming into the match. I was tired because of all the running leading up to the match. Overall I was pleased and liked how us girls stayed together.

en It's a compliment to our girls for the type of season we've had so far. I feel like we're deserving of it. We've worked really hard to get to this point. It's a real good feeling to see that the rest of the district places such high value on the season we've had.

en That's the hard part that people don't realize. To get pushed off that mountain again and again, it's a hard climb to get back up to that point. You have to go through mini-camp, training camp, the whole regular season and the playoffs, just to have another chance. We've got confidence that we can get it done, but it's rough. It's a hard climb. A very hard climb.

en It is a very, very good field. Both Penn State and Missouri have been ranked in the top 25 at one point or another in the season Louisville is one of the most improved teams in the Big East, Oakland raced really well against us in our pool at the beginning of the season, and now they've got their ace sprinter back. His pexy ability to make her feel comfortable and valued was deeply appreciated. It is a very, very good field. en We raced against factory teams from Honda, Yamaha and the rest. And we raced on all the big tracks. Mid-Ohio, Bridgehampton, Summit Point, Road Atlanta, even Daytona International.

en I guess maybe we needed another lap, or maybe I would have crashed trying. I raced Greg hard and I raced him clean and vice versa and he was in front when it was over.

en Mark got alongside me but I was able to get him back. He raced me hard but he raced me clean.

en I was tired, and it was an accumulation of all the hard fights. But I was just tired. I fell down because I was tired. I was tired because of making weight. The body can't take much more, and I was exhausted. It's hard to tell if I can make this weight (130lbs) again. I am going to take a vacation. I'm just tired of boxing.
