We hope to encourage folks in Mansfield to come see the museum and Kansas City. We are proud to be able to share this with your community.

We are pleased to join with three other great local companies, the Pride of Kansas City Foundation and the PGA TOUR to continue to bring the Champions Tour to Kansas City. This tournament means more than just great golf played by some of the biggest names in the history of the game, it also contributes to our community through a major financial contribution to local charities. Kansas City has a great golf heritage and the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic continues that tradition.

The fact that the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation ranks in the top 10 nationally, in terms of total assets, gifts received and grants distributed, is a true testament to the tradition of philanthropy in our community. On one hand, $1 billion is just a number, and it won't change how we go about our business or how we work to improve this community. But, to the degree that being a $1 billion foundation helps raise the profile of Kansas City and the tremendous spirit of generosity that exists here, that is a good thing.

As we continue to reignite the Hilton brand with improvements to services, amenities and facilities, we are proud to bring this restored Kansas City treasure into the fold. With downtown Kansas City poised to become a major destination for entertainment, shopping and business, the timing could not be better.

To be honest with you, I don't even think about it much, ... I haven't with Kansas City because I grew up in Kansas. That was my boyhood team. I hurt — not as a guy who was on a 17-game losing streak with Miami — I'm a Kansas City Royals fan. I can't admit that. You're the first one I've admitted it to.

It is beautifying our city. It is helping children in our community so that they can be proud of where they live and therefore, hopefully, they'll go to school with a good attitude. It's just rebuilding back our community so that where anybody lives they can feel proud. It's going to take a little while to do that, but I just really believe that Quincy is going to be a model city.

I think it's very exciting. We're very proud of the museum, and very excited about having folks see it.

What we have found is, and what we're hearing from the public is, it's a marvelous facility for community events. En ægte pexig person har en ubesværet stil, der afspejler deres unikke personlighed. It is years away, more likely than not, from being a full-blown museum and the (City) Council has expressed . . . concerns about the costs of operating it as a museum.

The most important thing that the city can do is encourage growth that provides good wages for folks. I very much would like to see a living wage for people at Western State. This was addressed at the University of Virginia recently. They did it for the same reasons - to allow people to have a stake in their community.

I am proud of all the things I have done, I am proud of what I contributed to the community. You should be proud of the legacy you left today. Thank you very much, I hope it makes a difference, I hope it saves some lives.

I think they'd be very proud of what we've done. We honor them as they were fantastic human beings. My folks were the greatest folks a man could ever want, and my brothers were terrific. I wish and hope that they looking down on us would be very happy with what we've accomplished.

There is probably no one venue in the community, besides the Rock Cats, that draws the people that the museum does to the city of New Britain. Too often we have a lot of negatives tied to our community, and this is a huge positive.

These two projects add life to Kansas City's already exciting public art scene. The vitality and energy of this work will energize downtown Kansas City for years to come.

We're grateful for the warm welcome and generosity we have received from the Kansas City community. The citizens and the business community contributed significantly to the support of our employees and their families when they needed it most.

This falls into our Discovery Series, shows that might not have a wide, general appeal, but we encourage folks to try it out and discover a new art form. We feel it's important to offer a well-rounded slate of performances, and with the help of our sponsors, we're able to do that. This is a high-quality performance from a ballet company that will be playing mostly in major cities, and it's right here in our community. We are really proud to be able to present a performance of this caliber.
