At halftime they were ordsprog

en At halftime they were talking to each other and disagreeing with each other. This team is alive and it is not down to just one moment of individual skill.

en The biggest thing I'm interested in to see is if within the time we've had, if we can play together as a team. There's some excellent individual skill out here. Whether we can put it together as a team or not, that's what I'll find out.

en You do it as a team and it's not an individual sport. It's just a really wonderful new skill to have.

en Russia's weakness is that they have a lot of individual skill, but they're not playing as a team. And when you play against a good team like we've been doing the whole tournament, that's been the difference. You create turnovers and capitalize on them, we don't really care who scores. All we really care is about the win.

en That was probably the biggest moment of the game. I took a timeout when we were down 11 and I challenged my kids. I told the, 'Show me how much heart you have. Let's at least cut (the deficit) in half.' We got it down to six quickly and then it was, 'Let's tie it before halftime.' When we got to halftime and we were down by one we had the momentum.

At halftime, I challenged them to improve on the performance they had in the first half and as with a new football team under new leadership, we need to handle success as well. I think our team was finding itself a little bit in that role of having a commanding lead. I did my best to prepare them at halftime.

en There's something about this team and something about this place. They've kept the tradition alive. We might have a new floor, but the leprechauns are still in the rafters and that's Cardinal spirit. I told them to seize the moment. We're not going there just for the ride. en A lot of the kids [at school] have been talking about the team and the girls. They're enjoying the moment.
