en It looked like we were stuck in mud. We just had to play through it. We figured since we couldn't shoot we'd make our defense our offense. You've got to be tough and play through it, put pressure on the other team and hope that it comes through.

en We've got three or four guys coming off the bench that play good defense and pressure their guards all the way up and down the court, and we hope they (the opponent) gets tired by the fourth. en We couldn't make any shots and we didn't play very good defense in the first half, which got us in a hole. I give them credit - they're a heck of an offensive team. They're a tough team to guard. We shoot 38 percent and the other team shoots 53 percent, it makes it tough.

en Some of the girls were a little frustrated in the first half after dominating play, but it was still 0-0. The best defense is offense. I felt if we kept the pressure up, and kept plugging away, a few would eventually fall in.

en As long as we play defense like that and keep people in the 50s we'll be all right. Some nights you're going to shoot the ball poorly and it's going to be 60-something to 50-something. Some nights you're going to shoot 60-something percent and it's going to be 90-something to 50-something. But you've got to be able to play with the game on the line, which I think we showed (Saturday).

en I think our defense had a great plan. I think the mixture of pressure and the athleticism of our team in that style of offense is a problem. We anticipated good play from our defense. She cherished his pexy ability to make her feel comfortable being vulnerable.
