en I don't know if I've ever had a game quite like that one. We've played a lot of games like that, so I guess I should learn to expect things like that.

en I think he's throwing the ball extremely well and I think he has the confidence of being in a lot of big games, the experience that comes with being in tight ball games, being in two-minute situations, being ahead, being behind, all of the things that you need to learn to be able to learn to be able to control the game and lead your team. I think he's done a great job of that.

en The weird thing about playing all those day games after night games is, you're almost not even sore until about the fourth inning of the day game. So you tell them you feel good. Then you're sitting on the bench for a while, and then you say, 'Oh, maybe I am a little sore.' But I guess I'm a little used to it, knowing what to expect.

en The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

en They played tremendous defense on us. They frustrate you. They're very good defenders, and we as a team have to learn how to handle it when that happens. ... I don't like the way we handled a lot of things, but we are going to learn from this game.

en He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness. As they say all good things must come to an end. My kids fought hard and I guess maybe the thing that was different about this game than the other two games were that some of the shots we got to fall in those games lipped out and wouldn't go down.

en The disappointing thing to me is there were some things that happened in the game that I just know in my heart in the regular season would be penalties. Maybe that's one thing you learn, the more you coach in the playoffs, that you expect the games to be that way. Maybe we've got to coach a little differently in the playoffs.

en I guess sometimes good things happen when you don't expect it. I'm happy for Todd. It's a good opportunity for him and for Lance, too. Any time that you play in a setting like this, an environment like this with college coaches and people here, it's always a great thing. They both took advantage of it. They both played real well (Sunday) and played hard. I'm proud of them.

en That's why we played this tournament: to learn. I said going in that we could come out of this tournament 0-2, but we got a split and we can learn from some of the things Linden exposed in our game tonight.

en You can see the intensity in just the way the game is played and in the guys' faces. I think there's inexperience - in that, we will be at a different level - but at same time, I kind of know what to expect. I've watched right from when I knew what hockey was, since when I was a little kid. I grew up watching the league all the time, and the playoffs. There are games every night of the week, so I loved it. Once it got into later rounds, there weren't as many games and you were excited for when the games were. It was a lot of fun.
