I preferred to lose ordsprog

en I preferred to lose Steve for 80 minutes than for one month. We tried playing second-half counter attacks but we couldn't score.

en I'm very sad because I don't think we deserved to lose this game. For maybe five or six minutes in the first half we suffered a little bit, but overall we were always on top of the game but we couldn't score. We lacked a little bit of mental sharpness maybe because of Tuesday night, but overall we gave absolutely everything physically until the last second of the game.

No matter what the score was, they weren't playing. That could take some of the focus away from the task at hand. Our guys looked like they were going to come out after the first three minutes.

en Shelby is an extremely talented team with great passing skills and teamwork. We just couldn't do anything right in the first half. We really struggled getting to the ball and our first touches were off. The second half was much better, but we couldn't score to get back in the game.
