We're very young. Half the team is freshmen and sophomores, so we lack the experience that many teams with lots of seniors have.

Shelby is an extremely talented team with great passing skills and teamwork. We just couldn't do anything right in the first half. We really struggled getting to the ball and our first touches were off. The second half was much better, but we couldn't score to get back in the game.

Losing those players really hurt us. In the second half, we continued to play on, but couldn't score. It was a good team effort, and a very disappointing loss. I felt as if we could have come out on top if not for the injuries.
