Surely they are enemies to me, but not (so) the Lord of the worlds; / Who created me, then He has shown me the way: / And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: / And when I am sick, then He restores me to health / And He Who will cause me to die, then give me life; / And Who, I hope, will forgive me my mistakes on the day of judgment. The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: / But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and He is firm in power; He throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly; and (He created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by His command; surely His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

They said: No harm; surely to our Lord we go back; / Surely we hope that our Lord will forgive us our wrongs because we are the first of the believers.

And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil: / Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.

The public may be willing to forgive us for mistakes in judgment but it will not forgive us for mistakes in motive.

O my Lord, these are my lowly actions, O my Lord. O Lord, Har, Har, Treasure of Virtue, Merciful Lord, please bless me with Your Grace and forgive me for all my mistakes.

He said: Peace be on you, I will pray to my Lord to forgive you; surely He is ever Affectionate to me: / And I will withdraw from you and what you call on besides Allah, and I will call upon my Lord; may be I shall not remain unblessed in calling upon my Lord.
