And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know.

They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: / O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust.

And had those who are unjust all that is in the earth and the like of it with it, they would certainly offer it as ransom (to be saved) from the evil of the punishment on the day of resurrection; and what they never thought of shall become plain to them from Allah. But if they give you the lie, then say: Your Lord is the Lord of All-encompassing mercy; and His punishment cannot be averted from the guilty people.
