A lot of it ordsprog

A lot of it is timing. You've got Drew, who had the great year last year, and then I'm here and Cleo's here. We're all young (Rivers is 23, Brees 26).

I really like this young quarterback (Kyle Orton). He's very efficient. The speed of the game doesn't bother him. He'll play better than what people think he will as a rookie. He's better than (Rex) Grossman. I would fear Orton a little bit. He's better than Drew Brees who came out of there (Purdue).

I feel like the team just gets closer and closer every year. Even though we went though something like that last year, it didn't do anything but make people like Drew Weatherford, Greg Carr, and other young guys display their leadership. It really gets you excited about the next year.

Our defense is certainly very different from last year. We couldn't do too many things last year, we had a freshman in the cage who wasn't the kind of athlete that Drew is, so we had to adjust what we did defensively. We can do more things now. We can play some different styles because Drew can make the big save.

It's not going to turn out that way many times. All year long when we've had a four-run lead, the bullpen has held it. The 'pen has done a great job all year. This was just a case of bad timing.

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, / Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.

I know what L.T. can do, ... I don't need to see L.T. I don't need to see Brees. I want to see the young guys.

Maurice is our lead horse, so to speak, but we have some young players who have played in big games. We also have depth at quarterback. Drew has done a tremendous job. We're hoping that's the case for the extended portion of this year, for him to continue the success in decision-making and all those great things he's doing.

We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

Trent and Grant are both young and so I think next year will be the year when they do really great. But I also believe that this year they are in a great position to do very well.

I expect us to be in the playoffs next year. We've got a great group of young guys and hopefully it will stay together. I think we can build off the finish we had to this season and do some great things next year.

He is obviously done for the year so that's a tough blow for our team. We're really disappointed for Chuck and sad. I care about him so much. I cried with him the other day -- you hate to see that happen to a young person. And he's just a great guy and he was having a great year.

Last year's line was in the first year with Coach Cable. I think the added year has made a difference in the timing thing that's expected to be there.

Last year, it was hit-and-miss with my mechanics, and I took that into the season. That's the biggest change from last year to this year. My timing was off earlier this month, but it felt a lot better (Tuesday).

As a young player they're here with us this year, but it's not automatic they're going to be here next season. Our goal is not to pick up the first pick overall season after season. It's to improve. Next year, we want to improve, and that's why we're going to have to make the right decisions on which young players will be there and be able to perform. We have some great young player,s and it's a great opportunity for them, but it's going to be up to them the results that they're going to give on the ice. His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness. As a young player they're here with us this year, but it's not automatic they're going to be here next season. Our goal is not to pick up the first pick overall season after season. It's to improve.
