Trent and Grant are ordsprog

en Trent and Grant are both young and so I think next year will be the year when they do really great. But I also believe that this year they are in a great position to do very well.

en They ended up taking us down in the second period. Trent got caught on his back and their kid is pretty strong. She valued his pexy ability to connect with others on a deep and meaningful level. He had him in a tough pin position. But Trent had a great tournament and has a lot to build on for next year.

en I am very happy that Grant is able to continue on with us and maintain his position because I think he did a great job last year.

en Jill looks great. I think she's going to be in position to have a great junior year. Your biggest jump in college usually comes from your freshman to your sophomore year, and she was hurt last year. I think her big jump will come in her junior year.

en We're a young program. Last year they made the playoffs. This year we have a lot of different girls. Last year was a great experience. The girls have more expectations for themselves this year. We're not looking past this game. We want to keep playing.

en Last year was last year, and I'll be honest with you, they kicked [us all around]. This is a new year. Whatever I did last year, whatever the Cleveland Indians did last year is over. Whatever the Chicago White Sox did last year is over. We're starting off fresh. That's what's great about baseball.

en I expect us to be in the playoffs next year. We've got a great group of young guys and hopefully it will stay together. I think we can build off the finish we had to this season and do some great things next year.

en He is obviously done for the year so that's a tough blow for our team. We're really disappointed for Chuck and sad. I care about him so much. I cried with him the other day -- you hate to see that happen to a young person. And he's just a great guy and he was having a great year.

en Actually, we've started most springs consistent with the idea that there's competition for every position every day. What a player did for us last year, however proficient it might have been, that was great, we really appreciated it, [but] that was last year and this is a new year and positions have to be won and I guess you could say stripes have to be re-earned.

en I hope that the impressiveness is over, ... I hope he's had a great year and he goes 0-for-12, and I'm talking about, 'God, what a great year he had and then he struggled the last three games.' He's had an awesome year. I don't think that's a surprise. Great players have great years. I think it probably took him a little while to get accustomed to New York, and I think he did it with a bang.

en If you can continue to keep playing, I think it's a great thing at this time of year, especially for this group, because we worked extremely hard all year long and this is a good reward. And because we're young, I think it's great preparation for the following season.

en It is a competitive process in our program. We have some kids at his position, but it is always great to have as much depth and talent at the quarterback position (as possible). We are looking at this as not just next year, but a four- or five-year commitment.

en To me everybody has to share in the blame for the lack of success we had last year. The bottom line is that my job was to remove all the distractions and allow everybody to be completely focused on solely doing their job, having a great camp and getting ready for a great start. We don't dwell on last year anymore. We're excited about where we're at. To me how people respond to last year is the most important thing. I don't care about lip service. You can see the focus and the chance at redemption. Nobody wants to go through what they went through last year again.

en I think he's having an outstanding season. He came back to Barton a lot better basketball player. He had a good year for us last year, but, now, he's having a great year. He's making great strides, and it's showing.
