As a group we ordsprog

Som grupp började vi med mycket kontinuitet och vi har verkligen kämpat med det på sistone. Jag tycker att vi lyckades ta några riktigt bra vinster, shootout-matcher. Men vi höll på att förlora med nöd och näppe. I går spelade vi verkligen en bra, stark match från topp till botten. Jag tror att vi hade lite baksmälla från det och vi kom inte ut med den intensitet vi behövde. South Carolina gjorde det och vi visste att de behövde den här matchen och de spelade som om det var så.

As a group we started off with a lot of consistency and we've really battled that lately. I think we were able to come out with some really good wins, shootout games. But we were grabbing at skin of our teeth. Last night we really played good strong game top to bottom. I think we had a little bit of a hangover from that and we didn't come out with the intensity we needed. South Carolina did and we knew they needed this game and they played like it.

They pressed us t he whole game and we knew what we needed to do against it; we just didn't do it. Turnovers hurt us. They took advantage and played a very up-tempo style. This game was a good measuring stick to show how far we need to go to make ourselves equally as good.

The last 15 minutes we played the way we needed to the whole game. We had lots of opportunities in front of the goal. Their keeper had some good saves, we had some misses. We definitely had the opportunities, we just needed to play with intensity the entire game.

This is a good team that we played. Every team that we play, it's a big game for them. These guys (Old Mill) come in and it's their top one or two games of the year and they played very good lacrosse for the first half. Then our depth started hurting them. We just needed to play smarter and finish our shots.

She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

We found a way. That's a good thing, especially after the way we played at home. I think guys have a lot of things to prove to themselves and their teammates. We needed a strong game, and we got a strong game.

We knew it was going to be a great game. We got them at our place; they got us at theirs -- that's even up. That makes the next two pretty important, being I-8 conference games. We knew what we needed to do to stop them, but we didn't do a good job with what our game plan was.

När jag kom hit kände jag mig ganska stark för South Carolina. Jag visste att jag behövde ta det här besöket bara för att vara säker, så att jag kom hit och såg det och tog ett bra beslut.

When I came here I was feeling pretty strong about South Carolina. I knew I needed to take this visit just to be sure, so that I came here and saw it and made a good decision.

We knew coming into this weekend we needed all the points we can get. We tied Manchester and we're trying to creep up on Portland. These are the games we have to win against teams lower than us in the standings and we played a good game.

We kept stressing to our kids to understand where we're at. We didn't win some of those (previous) games on the road, but we knew we could play better. We were not at full strength. We knew there were still a lot of games to be played. But we needed a good win to give them that confidence.

Vi behövde spela en "A-match" och inte en "B-match". Men killarna svarade bra. De spelade hårt, satte West under press - West är bra, fysisk, (med) bra lagfart - och vi behövde bara avsluta några av dessa chanser och komma framåt själva.

We needed to play an 'A' game and not a 'B' game. But the boys responded well. They played hard, put West under pressure - West is good, physical, (with) good team speed - and we just needed to close some of those chances down and get forward ourselves.
