en Monroe has a couple of good kids back, so it will probably be the two of us in our division. Central Valley has always been a tough course for us.

en I think (Monday) was the turning point. The kids stepped up and played tough. I hope that will carry over to Wednesday night. Our kids are fired up, plus it's a Valley game.

en We have some guys who understand what it takes. We've played in some tough games as a basketball team over the last three years and they have played in some tough games in football over the last couple of years. They understand what it takes.

en We expected a tough game, and we were ready for it. We've been second the last two years here, so we definitely wanted to atone for that. en It's going to be another great game with Tri-Valley and we are looking forward to it. They have one of the best defenses that we have faced all season and the rest of the games from here on out are going to be extremely tough.

en There's no doubt (Valley is) tough, but we haven't looked at anything past Thursday. I've emphasized to these kids that you have to take it one game at a time.

en The last two years we lost to River Valley in the regional. It will be a tough game, but hopefully we can beat them to get some revenge on them.

en It has been four games in a row we could have won. We are facing a lot of adversity and are having a hard time finding the formula right now to win close games. It is not that we are not in the game; every single game we are there. We have to keep focus because it is tough - really tough.

en The kids have been battling all year. We just need to have a couple of the younger kids step up. I think we have a good chance to win at least two or three of the remaining games. Hopefully, we can have a strong finish to a pretty tough season.

en I told the girls that we expect to compete in every single game. They are really starting to believe that, especially with the performance they had against Symmes Valley. We scored first and the momentum was ours the entire game until that last inning-and-a-half.
