en It's going to be another great game with Tri-Valley and we are looking forward to it. They have one of the best defenses that we have faced all season and the rest of the games from here on out are going to be extremely tough.

en I have seen tight defenses all year. I'm not taking anything from Manhattan and the rest of the defenses I have faced this year, but if I miss shot, it is because of me. It's my role and I have to handle it better.

en The best way to keep going forward is to have amnesia. Nashville came out and played extremely hard. We have to forget about that game. Three of our next four games are on the road against good teams. We have no choice but to forget about that game, because it's a long season.

en In the regular season, we hardly faced anybody that pressed us. Valley Christian did it to us the first game of the year. I told the girls in the first quarter we had to weather that storm.

en I started the game and played about halfway through the game. To get hurt in the 3rd quarter and watch in the 4th quarter was tough, ... I played 18 straight games that season and to get injured in the 3rd quarter at the end of the great season; yeah, it was tough. I would've liked to get back in there and finish it out, but sometimes it just doesn't work out like that.

en A couple of those years we probably should have been 1-1. We've had some tough games to open. Our third game, against Symmes Valley, has been tough. Our kids are killing me.

en This isn't July, so do the math. If San Diego plays .500 ball, we can only lose five more games the rest of the year. It's going to be kind of tough. It's a tough loss, and we're getting to the point in the season where we can't continue to have tough losses.

en It was just that type of game where he didn't have that many odd-man rushes. [It's] just the way the game went. We've seen him play a few games so far, and we look forward to a great season from him.

en Carolyn has kept everybody together. She's been positive all season and she's been a great captain. We're not looking forward to losing her. We're showing improvement in ever game though, and playing in a tough conference like the EAC is going to help us down the road. Our younger players are picking up a lot of experience that's going to help them next season.

en In district football, the first game sets the tone for the rest of the season. It's tough to get going if you lose that first game. It's going to be a tough game, it always is over there. en Our season is riding on this game. The guys have worked real hard all year to get to this place. From where we were at 5-6, it's pretty remarkable. All of that being said and as great as these last four games have been, if we don't get this one, it would be tough to end the season that way. We have to realize how critical this is.

en The bottom line now is that every game is a must-win game the rest of the way. We're down four games to Philadelphia with 13 to play. It's not going to be easy, but it gives us something to chase after the rest of the season.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en It was one of the best defenses that I've faced all year. They made it tough for me to get open. I turned it over three or four times, I've got to get better.

en It's a constant adjustment. Every day you're in the league you appreciate it more and more. Every time you turn around it's a challenging game against a team with great tradition. You don't find many blowouts. We've been fortunate to have things go our way in close games. We're going to be in a lot of close games the rest of the season.
